Welcome to the Victorian Legal Admissions Board's short video answering frequently asked questions from applicants with stale qualifications.

What does it mean to have stale qualifications?

If you completed your academic or practical legal training qualification more than five years before applying for admission, they're considered stale and need to be assessed.

My qualifications are more than five years old. What do I do?

An application must be made through the online portal. Make sure to list the reasons about the delay in completing your qualifications and or applying for admission.

A copy of your transcript of academic records, up to date CV and any evidence of further law related study and or experience is required.

An assessment could result in further academic and practical legal training to be studied. This is so you renew your previous qualification and experience.
